എന്റെ പക്ഷിയും അവളും അതിവേഗത്തില് പറക്കുന്ന ഒരു പക്ഷി എനിക്കുണ്ട്. ഞാന് നോക്കും മുമ്പേ അതു പറന്ന് ചെന്ന് മടങ്ങും. പക്ഷിക്കൊപ്പം പറക്കാന് ഞാന് എടുത്തുവച്ച ചിറകുകളെല്ലാം പര്വ്വതകെട്ടുകളിലിടിച്ച് ചതഞ്ഞു. ആ പക്ഷിയുടെ കണ്ണുകള് എന്നേക്കാള് വേഗത്തില് എന്തും കൊത്തിയെടുക്കും. അവളെയും അത് കണ്ണുകള്കൊണ്ട് കൊത്തിവലിച്ചു. ഞാന് കാണുന്നതിനുമുമ്പ് അതു കണ്ടു വന്നു. പക്ഷി ചെന്നതിന്റെ പ്രശ്നങ്ങള് ഇനിയും തീര്ന്നിട്ടില്ല. ഞാനാമുഖം ഇനിയും കണ്ടുതീര്ന്നിട്ടില്ല. ഏതോ ശില്പ ഗോപുരവാതില്ക്കല് ധ്യാന നിരതമായ ആത്മാക്കളുടെ ഗരമാണ് ആ മുഖം. …
